Mr. Frank Tumwebaze of KADA consults with H.E the Vice President of the Republic of Uganda Prof. Gilbert Bukenya after closing a two day HIV/AIDS and safe motherhood workshop in Kampala.

Objectives of KADA

• To carry out activities for HIV/AIDS prevention through relevant education and the provision of related material.
  
• To conduct community-based projects aimed at creating sustainable income sources for communities, households and individuals.
  
• To promote health by advocating improved hygiene, sanitation and nutrition.
  
• To promote vocational training, adult functional literacy and the provision of material and educational support to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC).
  
• To facilitate communities to carry out environmentally-friendly projects for their good and that of future generations.
  
• To promote good governance by encouraging respect for human rights and the rule of law; and building leadership capacities.
  
• To promote food security within local communities.
